Hello - headed for greener pastures

Tied Up The Wagon Last Year And Now My Wife And I Are Headed To Greener Pastures. We Plan To Sell The House This Spring And Go Fulltiming. We Have Children In Fl,ca And New England So That Gives You An Idea Of Our Round Trips. For A Few Years We Would Like To Travel And Explore More Than Stay Too Long In One Place. Hence We Are Thinking Of A 22-25 Footer (used) Until We Decide To "settle Down" A Little More And We Would Have More Experience As To Size And Style. We Traveled In 1972 In A Vw Camper With Three Young Children And Plan To Stay With The Classics (with A Little More Room). We've Aways Loved The A/s And Look Forward To The Comradery Of Fellow Streamers. We Expect The Next 6 Months To Be Very Busy. Any Advice Would Be Appreciated.

Welcome milkman! Sounds like you've got a fun plan, and with your children scattered around the country as they are, it'll be fun to travel between them. Good luck in your search for an Airstream (and keep an eye on the classifieds here).

Hi Milkman and welcome aboard.

Sounds like you'll be seeing the country all right.

Why don't you mosey over to Colonial RV and check out the floor plans. Just make sure you fit in the bathroom and that the beds big enough.

When you get out to Ca. join us at a Calstreamers Rally.

Hi milkman, Welcome to the forums, and good luck in your travel adventures.
I would recommend the 25' over a shorter trailer. I had a 25', it got totaled. I bought a 21' and it was OK for about a year, I just went back to a 25'. There are usually just 2 of us but the extra space is nice and gives you more options in floor plans.
As Going camping said above, go to a dealer and sit in a few of them for a while. Imagine the 2 of you in there all day on a rainy day and see what you think. If the 22' is what you want, then go for it. You can always change your mind later.
