Smile Hello - going to look at 67 International

Hi, I'm new to the site. My sister-in-law (silverthreads) got me into the airstream. I'm about to go look at a 1967 international tomorrow afternoon and am really optimistic about buying this and restoring to our liking. I am so excited about it. when i saw tammy and john's, I wanted one for myself. Everybody please pray that this works out.

Thanks,
Karan

Karan,

I am praying for you and for good measure I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Good luck and welcome to the forums.

Welcome Karan, and I pray that all works out for you. Maybe next time we have a Tennessee get-together you will be there in your very own Airstream along with SilverThreads and their Airstream. I'm looking forward to meeting you.

Hi everybody. Good news. It will soon be mine. It is a real beauty and I know that God has blessed me more than I deserve, I'm sure. Silverthreads has pictures she took of my new baby and I'll ask her to post the pics as soon as she can. I am so excited that I can hardly stand myself, let alone anyone else stand me. I appreciate everyone making me feel so very welcome and it's partly y'alls fault I'm so hooked (mostly tammy's though). I hope we can all get together soon. Again, thanks to everyone and God bless.

Karan,

Very nice, you made a good deal and it looks great. Every find needs some kind of repair or improvement. Can't wait to see what you do and what it looks like.

Nice lookin' rig! There are a few of us owners of 67 rigs on the forums, and we exchange pics once in a while just so that we can figure out what things looked like originally! Feel free to join in!

I was thinking maybe they're getting the old AC fixed, or replacing it. That's what we're going to be doing before the fall, too, and I figure I'll have to put a tarp on top while it's all going down ...

I will have to chime in on this one. Karan got a great deal on this camper. Can you believe he only wanted 1200.00 for it? I had passed this camper for months. Even put it under the " I saw an Airstream... The man that sold it to her had been using it at a hunting camp for the last several years. It has a new fridge, air conditioner, hes including a microwave, small broiler oven, it has 2 custom made pillow top mattresses on the twins with custom sheets, he is including all the towels, dishes, pots and pans, so much stuff i cant remember all the things he said! He is also selling her his husky hitch and sway control. This is a great deal and I am so happy for her. We have already picked out the fabric for the curtains and Gaucho. The only thing that is wrong with it was a dent by the front door where he hit a tree. Its not even that bad. Floors are solid. I am as excited as she is to get it so we can get it all dolled up and hit the road!
