Nice find. You will have it going in no time. It is time to plan another Tennessee Rally. Maybe I can make this one.

Thanks everybody. Tammy's right. Biggest blessing indeed. The tarp was put over it because it needs a boot that goes between the two fans running the air conditioner. It doesn't leak except when it rains very hard. The man selling it to me is so very nice. He's took very good care of it (as you can tell). Everything he had in the trailer is included and also a portable sewage tank, a ladder to access the top. Like Tammy said, there's so much I can't list it all. We'll be moving it this Saturday and be working on it at Tammy's so I'll post pictures as soon as I can.

Very nice. The interior is so perfect for that age you have no idea. Please never ever ever ever utter the words "gut it" with this vintage gem. Ever. It is too beautiful to mess it up. This year and length is in my Top 5 list should I ever have to replace our Safari. Cool find. Just don't ever ever ever...well, you get the idea.
Oh, and move that spare tire, unless you want to risk rear end separation.

I won't have the title until Saturday, so I didn't want to jinx it. As soon as I have the title, I'm going to update my info.

Just can't believe all that for that low price. Our 67 still hasn't been on the road, because we found so much wrong with it. Be happy that you purchased this from someone that appreciated a classic. By the way, we have the turquoise and wood too. Isn't it beautiful?!!!!!!!!!!!

How did you find it? It does not happen too often. Good luck.

Another '67
Hi Karan, Best wishes on this "new" trailer. I too think the '67's are great looking units.

Actually, it was sitting inside the fence of one of those storage buildings. I called the owner of the storage place and asked if they knew if the owner was interested in selling the airstream. she called him and gave him my number. He called me the next day and told me he was interested and I've been so blessed. I've been wanting one for several months now and God blessed me with it. You've got to give credit where credit is due!!!!!

Hi everybody. She's finally home. Haven't come up with a name for her yet, but I will. As soon as the curtains and gaucho are redone, I post pics. My hubby plans on sanding down the wood and refinishing it. I can't wait to take it out. I'm so ready. I'm gonna update my profile. Thanks everybody for being so kind. Can't wait to meet up on the road.

Update on Karan's Ambassador
We brought the Ambassador over today so we can help them strip the clearcoat, get everything cleaned up and ready for the first camping trip. Karan didnt have a way to plug it in at her house to check everything out. Happy to say everything works! Our neighbors think we are starting an Airstream selling business! Here is some pictures of them sitting in the yard. Arent they pretty??

They look great! Wish you lived closer so we could bring ours down. Ours would look like the only child with her parents!!

Great find
Karan, You have a great looking new baby there! I also have the International trim package and the Aqua appliances and bathroom. Now you know why the '67 trailers RULE! Ed

Fun in the works
Karan, You'll have lots of fun personalizing and making this trailer your own. I see that the propane tanks now match and the spare tire has been removed from the rear. You're off to a great start... Best of Luck to you...

Hey everyone. We're finally on our first camping trip. We're staying at a place called Clabough's RV Park in Pigeon Forge. It's pretty nice. Has full hook up with cable. This is our first night and having a great time. Very peaceful. Nobody really bothers you here. We've got a canopy set up since we don't have an awning. The airstream is doing great. Gotta give my hubby his props. This was his first time pulling the camper and believe me, there were alot of obstacles. He did a fantastic job. I couldn't have done it. I'm very, very proud of him. We've done done alot of work on the new baby with the help of silver threads and it looks alot better than it did. Can't wait to get really used to it. Thanks to everyone whose given us advice. It's come in really handy. I'll write back tomorrow and let you know how it's going. Have a great day.

Wow, What a Steal
That really is a great looking trailer. I wish my ’67 was in anywhere near that condition. I like the colors too; mine is the yellow color and is nowhere near as cool. Enjoy yourselves.

I sure appreciate it. We've still got alot to do. You don't realize what all until you go camping for the first time. But we've had the best time. The kids (12 & 15) have really enjoyed it and believe it or not they want to go again. Did I mention there boys???? Hard to believe huh. We got a really good deal on it. We're wanting to polish it at some point. Do you have any pics of yours? I noticed two airstreams on your pic.
