Hello from Washington State

Hello everyone, my wife and I are new to Airstream though not entirely new to camping. We have ordered a 23FB Globetrotter which arrives in October. I’ve attached a stock photo but obviously it’s not ours yet. We are close to being empty nesters and are “buying ahead” with camping for 2 in mind most trips. Looking forward to learning more, getting the camper and getting out in some trips.

Welcome to the Airstream community. I think you will find these Forums very useful to you as you acquaint yourself with your new Airstream as well as asking questions and joining in conversations. You're maybe lucky to find one as generally new Airstreams are hard to come by.

You're title indicates WA state, you might want to check out the Washington and Oregon chapters of WBCCI to join, depending where you're located. Good way to meet other Airstreamers.

We also chose a Globetrotter, albeit a 27’ FBT but we love the design. The 2021’s are showing up - check out the Globetrotter sub thread to read what new owners are saying. Airstream continues to tweak the GT with small enhancements. You guys are going to love it!

Welcome F83. We live in Spokane and continue to love our Airstream. Have been all over the country west of the Mississippi but still find that we enjoy coming home to Washington. There are lots of places close to you to get out and learn the new trailer. Venture farther when you are ready.


Our local dealer usually has about 10 new units on his lot but now, well they are all gone! You are fortunate to get a new Globtrotter. They are very nice units.
