Hello from Virginia

Hi, my wife and I just purchased a 2017 Interstate 24GT--our first RV. With kids at Virginia Tech and JMU, we plan to visit them in style and rock the tailgating!

My wife and I are longtime boaters on the Chesapeake Bay (a boat is just an RV that floats, right? ), so I'm pretty familiar with RV-like systems--though I know I have a ton to learn.

We're picking up our Interstate from the Airstream dealer next Friday and doing the walkthrough before we drive it off the lot. Any advice for items that warrant particular attention during the walkthrough? Thanks!

Congrats on your new mobile digs!
My suggestion is to have the dealer demonstrate the entertainment system, including every feature. My 23FB FC does not play TV sound through the speakers, and the radio reception is nonexistent. Those capabilities may be a priority for tailgating.

Greetings and welcome. Some dealers will give you the full demonstration and training, and then hook up the unit and have you stay in it for the night. You can then get questions answered as a result of you "test overnight".
