Hello from UK 'wanabee'

Hello All

Always loved the look of vintage Airstreams, and joining this (excellent) site is another step along the road to finally getting my hands on one!

Of course, the stretch of water between here and there makes that a little more complicated, and boy do we like rules and regulations here in the UK

But it WILL happen, and I look forward to spending time here enjoying the benefit of all the knowledge and experience that people have taken the trouble to put up.

Alan

Welcome Alan! There are quite a few people here who have successfully imported an Airstream to the UK, so you'll get lots of tips. Good luck in your quest.

Rivet Welcome to the Forums

Hi Alan,

If you use the “Search” link located in the top blue bar, you will find several threads devoted to buying in the US and shipping to the UK. You will also find many like minded fellow countrymen.

Best of luck in your quest.

'ello Alan,
Welcome to the forums. There are several members from the UK on the forums. They can help you with the details of shipping an Airstream over. Glad to have you. Isle Brewers is by google earth appearances a very small quaint village. Doe you get much jet noise from the Navy folks at Merryfield?

I'll be in my favorite pub in Cambridge tomorrow nite....a pint of IPA please!

Again, Welcome!
