Hello From The Sonoma Valley

Hello,

While I have just joined this forum, I have spent the past couple of months reading and reading the fantastic advice provided. Thanks!

My husband and I have wanted to buy an Airstream for years. We have finally decided that this is the year. We hope to order a GT 27' FBT. I still feel that I have a fair amount of studying to do before we place the order.

SPM

I lived in Napa, Yountville, and St. Helena for close to thirty years. Sold my house in 2013, bought an Airstream, and have been enjoying life ever since.

Welcome SPM. When you jump in, come visit a Northern California Airstreamers rally. You can find us on Facebook. It's a very loosey goosey band that gathers a few times a year. Wonderful people to meet and converse about aluminitis with! - Brad from Petaluma currently camping at Manchester Beach.

Welcome! We live about 1/2 way between Santa Rosa and Glen Ellen so are practically neighbors.

Planning your new purchase is half the fun so enjoy the process. You've already found that this forum is a great resource for information and if there is any info you'd like about, for example, our nearby Airstream dealer feel free to PM me and I'll be glad to share my experiences.

Welcome and greetings from PA.

Glad to have you on the forum and hope you get your new AS soon. We have a GT 27 FBT and love it! You will also!

Greetings! I'm new to the AS forums as well, just purchased our '15 Bambi this spring. I'm from right in front of Howarth Park, east Santa Rosa. My airstream has been nothing but fun, and has gained value since I've owned it, hope to see you on the road soon!

Hey neighbor! We're out in Bennett Valley near Matanzas Creek Winery. Welcome to the forum!

SPMax, welcome to the Airstream Community and Forums!

Another 27’ GT FBT owner here and very happy with it. Take your time and do your research. We ordered the 2nd AC unit which also gives you 50A of electrical service plus it’s a resale no-brainer. And, you’ll get the redundancy benefit should one fail.

Airstream continues to refine the GT; check the sub thread on Globetrotters to see what owners of the new 2021’s are saying.

Good luck in your decision process!
