Hello from Spokane WA

Just wanted to say hi to the forums. Wife and I bought a used 2007 27FB Safari/LS/SE yesterday and can't wait to learn from this community as we have many questions before we embark on a new adventure. Happy Camping

Welcome Shaggy! Our home base is in WA, so I figured I should say hi. Congratulations!

Welcome to the forum. Where did you pick up the trailer. I have been looking at 27s, sort of, and don't remember seeing a local one. The folks at the local Airstream store are really great to work with. Don't hesitate to stop in if you have questions.

Lots of neat places around here to put the Airstream to good use.

Dick

Dick,
I did go down to Spokane Airstream last week to look at them after reading and trying to get smart on them for the past two months. The Owners wife was super sweet and I wish I could have bought a used one from them. That's how wonderful she was, took the time to explain a lot but unfortunately no used AS's there. I found mine online, in Oregon that became available on Monday and I bought it on Tuesday. Needless to say I am clueless on the inner workings of these things and I am reading the Manual as I type. I will be visiting Spokane Airstream more often now, knowing how great they are there.

The one I got is a LS/SE trying to figure out what makes it different than a regular Safari. I know that its doesn't have a microwave in the pantry drawer so that will be my first upgrade.

Hi

We're also in the Valley. Our 20FC is on order with the local AS dealer, and should be here the 1st of the month.

Congrats on finding a used one!

Hi, Chevl. We are on the south hill. It took over a month of active looking to find the one we wanted, just told Dick the whole story in a PM if your interested. The new ones are so nice, I wanted the 27 Flying Cloud they had there minus the two bed deal but can't part with 70K so got a used one thats pretty nice I must say.

Thanks Brian. Can't wait to get her home and start the upgrades. Already learning a ton, the search function is great tool, most questions are already asked and answered, a wealth of knowledge on these forums.

Welcome to the Airstream life, your going to love it. Check with the Airstream dealer about a group of Airstream owners that are getting together for breakfast once a month in your area.

Wife and I were heading out to dinner and going down Carnahan and Saw a 25/27 going up the hill, blue tundra pulling it. Who was it? We got jealous as we still have a week to wait before our baby comes home!

Looks very nice!
We hope to make it over there to attend one of your AS gatherings. So far, we've not made the trip over from Missoula because the passes were too icy/snowy/full of gravel. With nicer weather we will head that way ... be sure to ask about the Oregon gathering in mid-July. Check the Facebook AS groups especially for region10.
