Hello from Santa Monica/Malibu, CA
Just got our 2006 19' Bambi Safari in January '07. On our 2nd trip to Malibu RV park we met a great group of Forum Airstreamers. Had a great time, learned many fine points, great food, drink & hospitality. Hope to meet again and keep in touch. We are loving it!

Welcome to the forums!
Nice to already have a rally under your belt, they are a great bunch of people. I first met some of them last summer at the Lake San Antonio rally.
This is a great site for any Airstream info, chat or just communicating. It's always nice to have new members, welcome aboard.

I was checking on how to follow up on the Malibu trip, reading the recent posts. Im also new to this forum stuff also, trying to figure it out. How did you know I was online ? Is it ok to jump in on the thread or go back to the my original posting?

Now that you are here you'll get all the info you need and there's lots of Forum rallies you can go to. Everybodies always welcome and as you have learned all the streamers in the campground get invited too.

Hey Gwen, you lucky dog you! It's 29F here in CT right now and we can't wait to get on the road! For some stupid reason the CT DOT has been using more salt than sand on the roads and all I can see is frame eating crystals on the road!

Look at bottom of Portal page to see who's online
Tim and Linda-
Welcome as well from northern member of NorCal group.. Sounds like Malibu Non-Rally was great weekend, and a little warmer than Frozen Desert of Joshua Tree...
You can also look to very bottom of Portal page, and all members online will be listed in alphabetical order...
Other useful tips:
- Search tab is really powerful if you type in a couple related words on subject you're interested
- Going to your User CP will let you find and track all those threads you've posted or replied to quicker..
- You can give or get Karma at each post for each poster.. Your karma scores and messages are at bottom of your User CP (control panel)
- posting in pictures requires small photos (less than 600 x 600 pixels) and jumping down to manage attachments and then back up to message..
