Cool Hello, from Pensacola, FL

As members who just joined, we wish to say "Hi". We are retired, and with our Corgi, Gunner, and cat, Tippie, we have done some travel. We first had a 19' 2003 Bambi, but sold it two years ago and bought a 2005 CCD, 25'. We are members of WBCCI, and have been to the international rallies the past two years. Looking forward to learning from the many tips posted on the forum.

Welcome to the Forums. Check out some of the Forum rallies. They are a lot less formal and a lot of fun.

You are from my favorite part of FL - the Panhandle. When I was stationed in Mobile, AL with the Coast Guard, we used to sneek over to Pensacola, Panama CIty, Fort Walton Beach, to hang out. Spent a great weekend with a bunch of crazy Canadians in a beachfront hotel at their special winter rate of $17/night playing shuffleboard in 30 degree weather.

welcome rojo1964. it is so cool that you are from pensacola. my husband retired last year and we just bought our airstream motorhome (vintage 1979). we have never had the opportunity to travel. now, we hope to travel and the first place he said he wants to go is pensacola! maybe we will run into each other some time. we will have our two poodles with us. they are just the ones that will go with us, the other three dogs and our cat will stay home. thank goodness our son still lives at home! happy airstreaming!

Hi, I'm in Fort Walton Beach, FL, and am considering joining the Big Bend Chapter vs. the Pensacola Chapter. Mainly, I have heard that your Chapter does more traveling than Pensacola.

What can you tell me about your Unit? Pros and Cons? Are there many Vintage owners?

Hey there Pensacola airstreamers!

We live in P-Cola as well and just got our first Airstream. 19ft 2006 Bambi International. We hope to take the first trip to Blackwater River State Park, and spend some quality time with it. Any favorite places close? Great to be able to get some info in a forum like this!

Rivet Hi

Welcome to the forums! I get a lot of good ideas and advice here. I located my Excella in the classifieds, so I guess you could say without the forums I wouldn’t be where I am today (in the Excella). I have always enjoyed Pensacola, but it has been a while.
