Hello from NC!
My wife and I have finally decided what we want to do now that we've grownup and are preparing for retirement!  So a Classic 30 and a truck to haul it are in our not to distant future! Looking forward to learning all I can here and elsewhere!

Hi I - welcome to the forum and congratulations on your soon to be retirement. As a 2017 30 Classic owner, which I love, please read the thread regarding the Alde system and the mixing valve steps and threads. Please don't be discouraged or overwhelmed. Again, I have a Classic that I bought new in December but it was a bit of a learning curve. If you know what to look for before you purchase you will be light years ahead. Look forward to seeing you down the road.

My family are far from retirement age - we have a 30' bunkhouse bought new almost 4 years ago! Folks on this forum are super helpful!

WOW! This is great! We'd love to camp with you in your new Airstream. Our son and his wife live in Asheville, and we bring the Silver Otter down often to visit with them. We like Bear Creek and Campfire Lodgings best, although lots of folks like Gertie's, too.
We were in your position in 2010-2011. Got on this forum and learned a TON of good things. Don't overlook the Classifieds for some nice previously loved units. All three of ours have been used, and all excellent.
