Congratulations on your 27 footer and welcome to the neighborhood. Georgetown is a great centrally located town to go in all directions to find great parks. We go to Lake Georgetown every now and then to fish and paddle board. Inks Lake SP is just an hour away. A lot of great places. Take care and be safe.

Greetings from Colorado: Welcome to the Airstream owner's community. You can learn all about your new International and places to travel with it on these Forums. It is the best Airstream website that I've have found.

I have an old 75 Overlander "International" 27' that I renovated. The International name have been around Airstream since the early 60s I think. It used to be the top trim level that included many "self contained" items like a water pump, univolt 12v system with a converter, gas absorption fridge and the like as well as additional luxury items like fancy cabinets and a TV antenna. By the mid 70s all trailers were called International. Then the name went away for a while. I'm glad they bought it back. Vintage International trailers had the flag emblem on the sides. Here is a photo of my old Overlander. Your Airstream will last a very long time.

Post a photo of your trailer some day. We enjoy seeing other's trailers.

Welcome to the forum! My wife is researching extended travel in Texas - it sees like an ideal “natural habitat” (except maybe for the hailstorms). I’m sure you’ll get a lot of enjoyment out of your International!
