Hello from England

I have just joined the forum , I found the link from the the VAP podcast,
I hoping to import a early 60's airstream later this year as soon as I find the money and time , being in the UK I am restricted to the earlier airstreams due our towing limits on width and weight ,but never mind I like the look of the early ones . With a bit of luck ,I'm hoping to find something with a tidy shell and running gear and then do a full interior rebuild to suit our 240volt hook ups. a big task I know, but a lot more rewarding than just buying new

Welcome to the forum! I can just imagine an Airstream going up The Promenade towards Boot's Corner. Very pretty. You will get all the help you need from the kind folks on this forum.

Welcome to the forum, Bigplum! I guess you could say we started our rving in your country-we bought our first caravan over there-we were living in High Wycombe. We made several trips to the Cotswolds (Hobourne) and one trip down to Poole (was it?), and into Wales. We have pictures from our trips over there that we keep in our Airstream now and really love showing them off! If I can ever get the pictures scanned, I'll post them.

Best of luck on your search!
