Hello from Carolina Girl on Airstream Quest
Just found this site googling around. I had put into search bar "Airstream Sovereign for sale Cross SC" and voila got a hit that led me to your forums. My name's Carol, I live in No Georgia but want to move to Berkeley Cty in South Carolina within a year. I have always loved Airstreams and was given one back in the 80s & lived in it on 50 acres in WV, hoping to build a house. It never happened, I sold the land, and now 25 yrs later, I want an AirStream to travel around and also to park and make base camp north of Charleston SC. One can dream...and should dream! I'll be reading up in the forums and archives, dreaming and scheming...before getting to work finding an Airstream to buy. Thanks in advance to everyone who has ever posted here! Wish me luck!

Falluminum in North Georgia Mtn Fairground
Welcome, we live in Georgia and my husband is originally from Charleston.Check out the thread about Falluminum in the North Georgia Mountains. It is coming up real soon and would be a great place for you to meet other Airstream owners and tour all of the different types of Airstream trailers, vintage and new. Even though we have an Avion, they welcome us to the yearly Spring and Fall rally.

Welcome. If you hear of an Airstream that 'sounds' to your liking but is a little to distant to check out our 'Inspectors' around the country and maybe the world. The inspectors are volunteers and you can access them from the section on the right column of the Home page. Again, welcome.

Hey Carol!
Dreams are good! Yup! I had some great luck last month getting a '75 Excella 500 on Ebay of all places...they were only 75 min away so it was easy to check it out, but I've been told by many that I got a great deal. So anything's possible!!

It's great to see all of you SC/Ga folks on the forum. I grew up in Charleston, graduated frm Chicora HS (they tore it down a couple of summers ago! SAD), married, lived in Atlanta area, then moved to Jax Fl and am now back in my house in Dahlonega, Ga, not far from the site of the Falluminum near Helen. Hope to see some of you there! We're still looking for "the right" RV and it can be frustrating. People seem to love them and Keep them!!!

Hello from another Falluminum participant! We have had several families come to our rallies to check out the Airstream and gather info before buying. There are some local hotels for places to stay if you don't have anything to camp in. We will be at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds in Hiawassee, GA. Dates are Oct. 23-25. We always have a great time and love meeting new folks!
