I am an Airstream owner wannabe and have my heart set on a new(er) Sport 16. I am resigned that I will have to buy the AS Sport in the US (Pacific Northwest) as there is no supply at all in Canada. I would appreciate any advice on what to expect when negotiating with a dealership. I have heard the margins on these smaller models is small and that the dealer will only knock off $1k. I am hoping that the 20% of MSRP could still apply to these smaller models. Look forward to joining the Airstream owners club soon!

Hello from Colorado: Air Forums have several members for Victoria, (some say one of the most beautiful places on earth.) I have read about Canadian folks having to travel to the USA to buy an Airstream, and I hope some of them chime into your thread.

The Airstream market is hot right now, which I think is a major factor in the pricing. Maybe it will cool off as winter sets in. You might also consider a gently used trailer. Some folks buy and they soon trade for a model that better suits them.
