Hello from British Columbia! - Updated

As I'm no longer able to edit my thread from last week

http://www.airforums.com/forum...bia-20932.html

I'll, just have to add another!

I just wanted to let you all know that I will be taking delivery of my new (to me) 1972 Tradewind! I viewed the trailer on Sunday and it is an immaculate, two owner unit. Both of whom stored the trailer under cover when not travelling. In fact this trailer hasn't seen a lot of road travel, as the previous owner had little tme to do so and the orignal owners used it as more of a cottage than trailer. I'm very excited! Here are some pictures:

Oh! And the best part...see the stereo in the overhead above the front couch? It's an old Motorolla 8-track!

I picked up a 31' Excella last summer that still had the 8-track!

I've been looking very seriously for about 7 years, but actually ready to buy anything 24' or shorter for 2 years. I can't find one. I've probably done 20,000 miles through Utah, Nevada, and Colorado. I used to see them everywhere, 5-6 years ago. Now they are gone. I need a helicopter or some way to bribe every sheriff of every small town in the west to point them out. (I do have 3, but as I say, 3-is-not-enough).

Yours is way beautiful.

I had to come back and make an edit--I look at your emoticon and I makes me laugh because I know exactly how you feel. Way to go.

Roger

Cameron, it looks like you got yourself a very nice unit. There's a Tin Can Tourists campout at Deming, WA in August you may want to check out. They are quite a lot of fun and there was a ton of Airstreams at last years, the folks were extremely nice, and there were quite a few fellow BC'ites in attendance.
