Hello from (almost) Jackson Center

Greetings everyone. New member here excited to have the delivery date of our Caravel 20FB getting closer. My fiancé and I are from Columbus and have a weekend house at Indian Lake, OH where our Airstream will live when it's not being used -- about 10 minutes from Jackson Center.

We've admired Airstreams from afar (well.... about 10 miles) for quite a while and like many others took the plunge after enjoying an epic road trip last summer. Current delivery date is in October -- fingers crossed that holds.

Just wanted to say "thank you" to everyone on Air Forums who has already provided great advice, insight and suggestions. Those who answered specific questions know who you are but even lurking on old threads has been invaluable.

Welcome from Colorado: Very neat you have a location close to Jackson Center. We visited there many years ago for some repairs. It was fun to see the little town and the factory. It has completely changed now I'm sure.

I believe you will enjoy your new Ohio built travel trailer where ever you go.

I grew up very near Jackson Center. We went back to visit my parents last month. Other than a new Airstream manufacturing building and a new school building, the rest of JC is the same as it was 40 years ago!
