I've been meaning to introduce myself for almost a year but never seemed to have time to get a 'round tuit.

We've been living on sailboats for nearly 30 years and decided we needed a change. We want to cruise so a motorhome was the logical solution for us. We loved Airstreams but never thought we'd find one we could afford. Then last March, while DH was working in Arizona, he found 2 Cutters! I drove out with the dog and we spent the next 3 months driving it back to MD. We had quite the shake-down cruise, lots of fun and repairs.

After we got 'home' we spent another 3 months selling our boat, closing our business, and moving aboard the Cutter. Then, in October, we left for our first winter in our new home.

Now we just sit around grinnin' at each other!

Yes, it do get cold out there! And hot in the summer!

We have been in your neck of the woods a couple of times in the last few years. We had a blast at the WBCCI Region 7 rally in Huron in 2007, then last year we took the Yellowstone Trail through northern SD to the International Rally in Bozeman, MT. SD is a beautiful state to tour and lots of good places to camp.

The South Dakota Unit is small, but a great bunch of folks.

We are starter South Dakotans since October, and there was a blizzard 2 days after we left Madison! This year we "suffered" the winter in South Carolina and are headed to Maine for the summer.
willyd...we lived in Vero back in the 80's...Melbourne was a frequent sailing destination.
