Greetings from the Land of Az!

Hi all. We’ve had our 2018 FC 20FB about a month now and are 10 days and 1000 miles into first trip with it. Lovin’ it, all good news so far. We bought it less than one year old and barely used from a private seller. Felt very lucky to find it 66 miles from home as it seems so few are available at any moment from private sellers. It’s essentially stock off the shelf at this point. I am soaking up all the legend, lore, wisdom (and a tiny bit of bs...) here and elsewhere, trying to decide how best to use it and what to change over coming weeks & months. Great to have this huge resource to help.

The TV is a 2018 Ram 1500 4x4 and so far the two are working very well together.

I don’t feel deeply experienced but we have had various RVs for about 20 years including a 31 foot Bounder (when there were more kids and dogs), a RoadTrek 190, and a Forest River MicroLite 20’ TT. Now we are retired and enjoying this mode of travel enough to want an upgrade. The Bambi is that for us.

I’m Bill, she’s Dakota. See you around!

Greetings from Colorado: Welcome to these Airstream Forums. Thanks for the picture of your rig. It looks like a lot of fun. Tuscon is one of my favorite places. We were there last spring with our 1986 Limited 34'. Here is a photo. It is the opposite spectrum of your trailer, but an Airstream nonetheless.

We hope to venture out again this spring, if and when spring comes to the rockies. We still have a good foot of snow on the ground around here. I'm not comfortable pulling a heavy trailer down 7% grades when there is ice on the roads.

Safe travels.

David

Thanks guys. Wow David the Limited 34’ sure do shine! I wouldn’t take it or even my little one down icy roads either! Travel safe and fun.
