Greetings from the Adirondacks!

Hello to All,
Just purchased a 1964 Airstream Globe Trotter and happy to find this forum. The previous owner had restoration in mind and has completely gutted the inside although everything is intact in his garage. Pretty overwhelming but I'm going to give it a go.
Cheers,
Jim

Hey Jim, Welcome,
I'm located a couple of hours from you in Plattsburgh, NY. If you want to get a good idea of what you're up against, come on over to my shop & have a look. We've got a number of Vintage Airstreams in various states of restoration available for you to look at.

Jim,
Welcome to the forum! I'm about 1.5 -2 hours from you in Norfolk [near Potsdam] NY.
Don't hesitate to email if you have a question.

My band , The Lime Hollow Boys, will be performing very near you at the Blue Mtn. Lake, NY Adirondack Museum on September 6. Perhaps I'll see you there.

I'm thinking the OP got done in by his trailer restoration.

Hey Jim,

Are the black bears at the dump (er, sanitary landfill) still a tourist attraction? I was a bark eater for almost 20 years until after one year of 10 months of winter, 1 month of thaw and one month of spring my wife announced she was moving to New Mexico. The rest is history. How are the black flies treating you?
