Hello all! I've recently been given a 1975 27' Overlander by an amazing friend, and with the help of these forums, learned so much and have begun my restoration. Just thought i'd say hello...hope to post some pictures soon, perhaps of my restoration in progress? Any a quick question- What's the average age around here? I have a sneaking suspicion I may be one of the younger owners out there....

Congratulation on your good fortune. We are all young at heart here, some of us just have more mileage than others. BUT...both of my trailers are younger than yours. Does that count?

Come out to North Norwich, NY this weekend and spend some time at our WDCU rally. We're about 2 hours away from you. I'm 39, my wife is 38, and we have 4 kids. Lots of people in the WDCU club are in the same boat age and family wise. Also, we may not be in our 20's anymore, but we do like to behave like we are.

I am up in Pittsford (Easter Suburb of Rochester). You did not state your age but I can tell you that I have seen more and more younger members.

Haha, well I was hoping to see some responses...I'm 22 and most of my friends had no idea what an airstream was until I showed them...

Hey there... 22 - wow! Cool! I was 28 when I started with my 85 34' Limited... congrats on finding out this cool way of life so young.... you're wise beyond your years. I'm with John - 39, my wife is 34 and we have three kids, 7,5 and 1 - all boys. You missed one great rally there in central NY - down in North Norwich.

So, what do you tow with? I have a nice Suburban that I'll be selling that only has 73,000 miles on it, it's 2WD and has a 454. Nice body - for $1500. Runs great! It's in North Norwich.
