Greetings from Rocky Top
Hello,
First time RV owner. Wasn't even really thinking about one until a friend of ours was getting rid of their 1972 25' Tradewind (twin). It was too good of a deal to pass up. It sat for a while, (maybe three years) but it was a trustworthy couple we bought it from so we knew we'd be in good shape.
Just figuring out how everything works was the toughest part. Even with the manuals, guides and internet, you just have to dig in and figure stuff out. Gas. Furnace. Water. Wow, water. Would have been good to know these old ones didn't have a grey tank. GOOD TO KNOW. You'll find this out too. It's easy. Water starts coming up through your shower drain.
Only taken one overnight trip so far back in the Spring. Planning on taking it to Kentucky Speedway tomorrow for the race.
Mostly original inside. Would like to keep it that way. Wife has done a great job decorating. Talk to y'all soon! Having some outlet issues currently I'll be asking for help on.
