My wife and I have finally an opportunity to do some traveling around the good ol' US of A. But we're very keen on keeping things on the down-low. What could be better than a vintage Bambi following my old truck? so If any y'all have some tips/pointers advice on where to find one of these beauties, please let me know. Many thanks. RJ

First, read all you can on this site about refurbishing a Bambi, or similar Airstream. At the same time, begin a search of the Internet, Ebay, these classifieds as well as many other Airstream web sites, read classifieds for many newspapers that you can find- many of those are available on line. If you are a DIY type, enjoy fixing ot up. If not, dig deep into your pockets.
The Bambis are beautiful, however, if you are going to do the whole country, you might look at the many offerings Airstream has made through the years. Storageis a must. Upgraded equipment for long-distance traveling is a must. Safety checks of all systems prior to departure is a must for your enjoyment.
