Hello there! My parents have owned since new a 1964 Bambi II. We will be taking her out of the barn and bringing her home in the Spring to begin the restoration. We have found endless information on Airforums and look forward to contributing to the community as our project begins.

Since I'm only 40 miles from you I'll jump in with my opinion. Not a real good selection to chose from but give me the thunderstorms over this unbearable heat and humidity.

Welcome to the forum mytyl73. So cool one owner trailer that you have fond memories with. Hopefully all she needs is a good scrubbing. Wear a mask inside while working. As far as the quote goes...thunderstorms of course. Watching the spectacular light show in awe of natures power. The temp drops 20 degrees in 5 minutes but still sticky out. A thunderstorm outside as I write this.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I'll take Thunderstorms over this heat any day. Last night was wild down here in Derwood with the storms that passed through. I loved every minute of it, wish I could say the same for the dogs that stayed hidden under the blankets. A little more than a good scrubbing on the Airstream is in our future, but I'm looking forward to the work, and documenting the process for my parents and siblings!
