greetings from Ithaca

Hello to all. We have just purchased a 2005 16' International, a salvage vehicle hailing out of Alabama. Seems to have hit a telephone pole on the left front. Winter project is to refit and make road worthy. Needless to say, we ( Carol and Peter) are looking foward to all the positive information that this site holds! Great job!

Welcome to the forums. Please post some pictures of your trailer so that we can follow your progress. One of the first things you should do is to winterize your trailer. This will prevent tanks and lines from damage if the water in them freezes.

I have a 63 Airstream and like in Rochester!

You are in for a fun ride. Welcome to the forums; they have been very helpful to me.

We are up the road a bit in skaneateles. A friend of ours refers to Ithaca as "10 square miles surounded by reality". Welcome to the forums there are many knowledgeable Streamers here to help. Cheers Tom

Welcome. Delighted to learn that there are Airstreams in NewYork State.
The temperature was 28 this AM. We were advised to "turn the furnace on".
We purchased our GT in July and would like some helpful info on Winterizing.
