I have four aluminum skinned canned ham travel trailers - all in not-yet-ready-to-use status.
Boles Aero:
1952 Mira Mar 16’ (Art Deco cabinet hardware)
1955 Mira Mar 19’
1955 El Dorado 35’ (made for Lockheed Aircraft Corp.)
- all have aluminum frame and skin
The Covered Wagon (name used with permission from family of creator of original Covered Wagon for manufacturing of new trailers in Elkhart, Indiana):
1959-61 Imperial (my best guess) 17’
- wood frame with aluminum skin, exterior door on street side from where I think bathroom was located
I attended Vintage Trailer Boot Camp in 2019 and registered to go this August 2021 - with
1955 Boles Aero El Dorado.
Thank you for having this resource available. I have already tapped into assistance for converting my hydraulic brakes to electric. After what I hope is my safe road trip home from Boot Camp, I will sure be “looking it up” as my mom - the World Book encyclopedia district director - would tell my siblings and me to do when we would ask a question.
