Greeting to Other Airstream Lovers

Hi, I just joined Airstream Forums I am the proud owner of a 1968 24' Trade Wind which I have been restoring as vintage for the last two years. The original owner's manual came with it as well as all other brochures/manuals for the appliances and accessories...except for one. I'm looking for information on the Armstrong Bay Breeze air conditioner. Does anyone have any written information on this? I'm in the process of restoring the original shroud...did a partial repair two years ago and will now complete the process. I am fiberglassing it just like I repaired my fiberglass canoe...works great!
Looking forward to sharing and gleaning information from this site.

When I owned my 1966 Airstream, I researched and learned that you can buy the motors that work in the Bay Breeze from Grainger supply. I also bought a new shroud from Inland RV in Corona, CA.....didn't want to repair my old one. Good luck!!
