Grateful Newbie
Hello from snowy Wisconsin! I just want to say how grateful I am for all the information I found on this website in the past week! Our little family (mom, dad, and two little girls) will be the owners of an AS before long as I have been smitten with them!!! I'm still doing my homework and checking out everything I can before presenting all the facts to my husband (he leaves all the details to me!). With the rotten snowy weather we have, I have plenty of time to dream before we will be able to go camping here anyway! Happy Trails................

You will find that there is a very loyal group of Airstream fanciers in Wisconsin. The Wisconsin Unit of the Wally Byam Caravan Club International is quite active and I feel certain that you would receive a warm welcome at one of the their winter luncheons where you could meet a wide variety of Airstream owners - - some with Vintage coaches from the 1950s so owners of current models.
Good luck with your investigation!
Kevin

Welcome FunHouse! Your job, is to keep it Fun! Get something used and maybe tarnished with a bend or two, just enough new left in it for little ones to cherish and learn not to abuse, and something for the old one to work on when you aren't out exploring the great wild blue. You must send pictures of little ones and their fish, sunsets, northern lights, pretty rocks, geography lessons and down the road their new beaus.

Welcome to the forum funhouse. Keep dreaming and researching until it becomes reality, then go and create memories with your hubby and little girls. Then, when they grow older and fight as siblings will, you get to start the process all over as you research and dream of getting a slightly bigger Airstream. (I may need a bigger one by next summer or my girls are gonna drive me nuts!)

Thanks so much for the warm welcome!! With 18" of new snow I sure needed it! I've been really reading up on everything I can. Trying to do my homework. This is so exciting and I'm so happy you're all here to talk to!
