Getting ready to take the plunge on an AS!

Hello!

My husband and I have always liked Airstreams, and are looking to purchase our very first one. We just started to seriously research about 2 months ago, and finally decided it was time to be able to post questions in addition to reading all the helpful information already on the forums.

We are debating buying an end of season 2019 Classic 30 vs waiting until next Spring to take the plunge. We have looked at a Classic on the lot locally. We know it's generally better to buy used, but we think (?) that the dealer is offering a decent price. We do have some mild concerns with a few cosmetic issues since it's been on the lot a while and had lots of foot traffic. A potentially larger concern we have is with regard to the outdoor shower. So this has prompted me to register so we can post in the plumbing forum and get some of the excellent advice we've seen from members of the forums.

Thanks in advance for your help and knowledge!

The first time we looked at the unit and opened the compartment, it was full of water and water was spraying out under pressure. The second time, a few weeks later, it was again full of water (though not spraying out). We are concerned about that pressurized, full compartment leaking back into the trailer somewhere that could come back to bite us down the road.
