Future owners from Maine

Hello,
We ordered our 2023 Classic 30 in December 2022 and are fortunate that we are slated to take delivery in early-mid May, 2023. We are new to Airstream, having had a travel trailer and two 5th wheels previously. We are anxious to get Harriet home and loaded so can get our camping season started.

I've been reading that some folks with a Classic 30 have had the 3" lift kit installed. I would am interested to hear from anyone that has had the 3" lift installed regarding why you made that choice and when you had the lift kit installed.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your choice of getting an AS.

I personally do not have a lift installed but I know many AS owners who do and I've not heard anyone regret doing so. It may prevent the rear end from dragging when going over uneven terrain of when entering or leaving fueling stops. A 30' is more prone to dragging the back end because of the length.

If I were making the decision I would do it.

All the best!

Welcome to the forum.

Lift. Definite yes. Ingress/egress to/from fueling/driveway. No drawbacks that I've noticed.

Hi Bret and Dodie and welcome. I am also from Maine but currently living in Fayetteville, NC. I pick up my new 25' International next week. I ordered last July so good news on your May date. Enjoy.
