fresh blood... ;-)

hi there!
at first: sorry for my bad english but i only used it a little bit in school...

my name is DEREK, 40 years old and writing to you from germany (europe).
i'm living with my girlfriend ANDREA and my two dogs close to cologne.
we are very untypical germans, cause most of our rides are americans (three chevy astro, one ford e-250)... ;-)

i'm renting cast-mobiles to movie productions ant this is the reasen why we have got an airstream now, too...
we bought it completely empty and want to build it as an double cast-trailer, too.

but exactly this is the problem:
i'm shure i need a lot of your help, cause in europe there exists nearly nothing for airstreams, no spare parts, no information, no nothing...

one of my first problems:
i need an complete door to build an second entrance into our airstream (how i said: it should be an double cast-trailer so i need an second door...) and there are some latters at the rear missing (there are missing: S,T,A,M).

now there is offered an door in ebay but the seller will not send it...
is there any member close to the seller in SALE CREEK,TENNESSEE who would be so (extremely) friendly to take the door from there, pack it and send it to germany? i would pay for it as an job, cause i have no other possibillity to get an part like this all over europe...

or has anyone from you an door to sell to me?

you see, it's not really easy with me ;-)

maybe i can help any member with car-parts or informations from germany, maybe somebody needs help by travelling through germany or something like that...

a lot of greetings to all the airstream-friends all over the world

derek

Welcome to the forums. I can't help with the door, but just wanted to say that you should watch the forum for people who are parting out old, heavily damaged Airstreams for the missing letters that you need. I don't know if Inland RV carries letters or not, but it might be worth contacting Andy.
