Smile Fishnstream

For those who like pics. A shot of the fish'n shack. As a new member learning the ropes of the site, hope this works. The as has been unmolested
but upgraded slightly by po's water heater, 3 way fridge, I have installed aluminum blinds from Home Depot. Also have the manual which has the original po and others listed. It has spent most of it's life in Canada.
Thanks for the great site Fred

Okay Fred, there's trees in that picture. There are no trees in Saskatchewan , or that's what I keep telling my wife's sister and family who live there as well as friends who moved to Moose Jaw. It's neat that you have the history of your trailer. I'd love to know who the early owners of mine were but no such luck. I guess I should just be happy to have it at all. Before we climbed the mountains and made our home in the Fraser Valley we lived for a long time in the south end of Alberta and made many trips to Regina and Saskatoon.

Thanks for the reply The trees are props rented from the gov't 17 to 22 dollars a day. They have different types in many locations. Being on this site will pass the winter quickly. Fred

Welcome to the forums. That is a great looking trailer you have. Will you be leaving the trailer as a fishing shack or do you have other plans? You might also point out to Barry the blue sky in your picture, he may not know what that is being from BC.

Maybe "shack" was the wrong term. It is a home away from home, has all the features of a million dollar condo but with a better view. It even has some items not found in the condo, back up generator, self contained water supply, on board sanitation, termite proof. I'm sure others could add more_______________ Fred

Blue Sky? I remember seeing it once or twice out here this year, but certainly not lately. This has been the wettest (and therefore grey-est) November on record and still a bunch left to come. OH well, makes for green everything, yes, including the side of the house that has to be washed every spring. All I can say is it's a good thing I put my A/S in the shop after all given the amount of rain and how cool it's gotten for us. We could even have some, gasp, snow this week

I lived in Lethbridge, AB so I know all about renting trees. There you had to tie them down so the wind wouldn't suck them up and send them off to Manitoba .

Take care
Barry

Cypress Hills

Fred,

Have you ever camped in the Cypress Hills? I've heard lots about it but not been there. A family reunion is planned for this coming summer and one of the folks from back east has suggested that it might be a great place to congregate. If you know of the area and have any suggestions it would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Barry (snowed in big time - 15cm so far.... )

Don't know if this is right, or proper. Tree rental includes a camp spot. Still a new member

I like this idea - I've wondered before why A/S owners with a polished trailer don't also polish the boat.

But then, my arms were sore for a loong time after polishing my A/S.....

Has anyone done it??

By the way, Welcome to the forums!!

Polished boat would make fishing easier, something that big and shiny above would certainly scare some of them to death.
