First Time and Full Time!
Greetings! My wife and I are taking the AS plunge! We are the proud parents of a 2006 25' Safari. We are going to be pulling her with our 2008 F-250 Super Duty. The airstream is sight unseen, to us, as my father has been my eyes in Texas. I'll post pictures as soon as I see the trailer.
We are going full time for the spring, summer, and fall while we tour the nation looking for the next great place to live, jobs, new trails and rivers, seeing friends, and otherwise doing our thang across North America.
I'm sure we will learn lots while on the road from this forum, especially the greatest campsites around, so thanks in advance for your help.
See you on down the road...

Oh, yeah! You're gonna' have some fun! Welcome to the world of vagabond sigtseeing!
Best single suggestion I can give you is to spend as much time as you can on the Forums, just reading about others' experiences and issues they've overcome. You'lss also identify a lot of places you want to see. Towing an A/S around is a great way to slow down and smell the roses, see swell sights, and if you like those sights, just park for a spell, and emjoy!

Howdy and welcome to airforums.com! We look forward to hearing about your upcoming adventure, and anticipate even more seeing lots of great photos!
One small thing, we recommend getting Woodall's guide for finding campgrounds in unknown places, and Good Sams club for saving money on campgrounds. While no guide or club is 100% perfect, Woodalls have been doing it longer than most, and offer tons of good info which is even searchable from their included CD.
See you down the road!

We are part-time full-timers... That means when hubby has an out of town project, it's our home I'm is personal assistant...LOL!). And when we go visit the kids (albeit 50 miles down the road), it's our home. We've been in our airstream more in the last three years longer than we've been at the condo. We love it. If the real estate market shapes up this Fall, we may go full-time for real... I'm ready, but hubby's still on the fence.
I echo the sentiment that this forum is a HUGE knowledge base.
If we cross paths, we look forward to meeting y'all!
/Lois
