Welcome!
You have come to the *right* place to learn all things Airstream.
Camping is a great way to travel especially with the family! We traveled a lot when our kids were young and it was great.
We are retired teachers and we love our little
1963 Bambi Airstream. It is perfect for the two of us. There are quite a few threads on what to look for in buying an airstream, and whether you want to spend the big bucks and go for the new models, or spend the big time and restore a vintage model!
Here is one link to a thread that has lots of information: (Be sure and consider the length of trailer you want for both towing capabilities of your truck or car and what lengths fit where! National Forest Campgrounds often limit above 25 feet...)

While you are looking check out the rally calendar and if there happens to be a rally going on near where you live, ask if you can visit! Folks love to show their Airstreams and talk Airstream ~ you will get lots of ideas and see many different styles and years that way!
Good luck in your search. Be sure and check out our classifieds here on the forum.
