Dolly's Folly
Hi Everyone,
This is my first post to this site. Hopefully I do it correctly. I have just finished restoring a 1963 Airstream Globtrotter. She is the cutest thing, I just love her! My dog Jake and I took her on her "maiden voyage" last week to Pismo Coast Village. We had so much fun, I never wanted to leave. I will attempt to post photos and attach a file that has pictures. This is about the cutest airstream I have ever seen!

No, I cannot take credit!. I only designed the interior and decorated it. The physical labor was done by Iowa Boys in Sun Valley, CA. It is my home away from home and affords me all the comforts of home. Call it mid-life crisis but I'm having a blast!

Seward's Folly? Dolly's Folly? Each are worthy of standing up and taking note! Nice playpen you got there.

WOW, that is VERY pretty!!!!!!!!!
I hope my lady doesn't see your pictures, because I know it would cost me big time. BTW, the theme of my trailer is "50s Diner".
One concern would be, how long those plates would stay in place. Are the plates china or plastic?

I am sure she packs the plates away before moving.. like I do my neon flamingo. My hubby always says why do I go to to all the trouble.. but I say because it's WORTH it.

Wow is right! Great remodel job! Watch out, though, because Alumunitis is addictive! I'm on my third one now and still loving it!

Wow, again! She's a beauty. I can't quite tell what type of flooring was used, is it a laminate or hardwood?
Sugarfoot here on the forums has a '60 Tradewind that had white wall tires like yours and a red-n-white striped awning that made her Airstream look soooo kewl and retro. She keeps her Tradewind polished to a mirror shine that you can shave by...or apply make up, whichever.
Nice looking coach you got there...the Iowa Boys really do a great job.

plates on wall
Actually, I leave the plates on the wall while traveling. They are china and attached with velcro. It's amazing how great that keeps them in place. Thank you for your nice comments.

The plates are attached with a lot of velcro. Wish I had invented the product! They stay right where they are during travel. Thank you for your nice comments.
