Crashed Overlander on ebay

Hi AirForums Members,
I am still looking for "my AS", and check ebay regularly. I saw a crashed Overlander up for auction. Oh, it made me so sad to see it crunched. I guess the tow vehicle was too small for the trailer. Not sure if anyone was hurt.

You have been great answering all my questions concerning possible AS that will match my tow vehicle (2006 Tacoma V6 w/ tow package). I am reading how to drive w/ a trailer, respect the 80% of tow capacity, use the correct hitch system (equalizer w/ WD that is set up by a professional). The pictures of the Overlander really brings home the importance of the correct TV and setup.

I've been reading the forums on many topics. What a wonderful resource!!!
I've narrowed down my search to a Bambi. Just waiting now to find it. :-)

what size and age trailer are you considering. The Tacoma will have limits.

Looking for a Bambi

I've been looking for a 19' Bambi, 2000+ year. Have messaged with TBRich and following wagnerda's Coast to coast trip. TBRich has a Tacoma, and wagnerda has a V6 Ranger, both have the 19' Bambi. My truck is a crew cab, so the wheel base is as long as possible for the Tacoma. I think I'm on the right track looking for the 19'.

I appreciate everyone's advice.

( Oh yes, don't forget to have a brake control installed too. )
