Cool new patio/door lights

I got these Hella EuroLED lights from a marine store here in Seattle. Made in New Zealand. They are completely sealed and (though not DOT approved for this application) are a far cry from the nasty ones I removed from Tinbad the Trailer.
The Patio light was easier than the step light where in I had to make a 1/2"rounded cut into the body panel for the wires that unfortunately exit the light body at the far edge.
Taking off the old ones was hard as I did'ent want to scratch the clear coat so several layers of tape all around the old fixture and VERY care fully shimmed and pried the old ones out.
I used the existing hot lead and grounded to the trailer the negative.
Used the existing switches inside the door with fuse holders (manif. recommended) behind the switches
I like that they have both white and red LED's in 3 different intensities. So in red mode the mosquitos and bugs are not attracted.
The only problem I could fore see is that one did not turn off the wall switches (so the lights would have power to them) and then if you were sailing down the road and it rained you might have flashing red/white lights like a fire truck as rain drops hit the little finger switches. So I put a little tape over them. And if you're solo, you might want to only use the white ones in polite company
They're list is $170 ea. but me being me talked 'em down to 140.
