Considering building a trailer shelter

May be getting our first AS soon. 2003 28 foot classic. If I do get I want to build a shelter for it. What's the total length with the tongue of this trailer.
thanks,
Dave

in general, the 28' is from the tip of the tounge to the end of the bumper. the 28' is also a nominal designation, and the trailer can vary up to a foot. ie, there are 28' trailers and 27' trailers that are the same length.

you might want to extend it a bit extra since wind driven rain and hail can be unkind to trailers.

That building would be perfect, maybe just 36 feet to accommodate my future 29 footer, but I don't know if I can swing it now. My driveway runs along the high side of my 30 foot wide house. Was thinking of a shed roofed shelter attached to the house.
