Chompin’ at the Bit!

Just purchased our “Escape Unit” last Wed. Still waiting to pick it up and learn how to use it. This is our first journey into RV camping. Our break in adventure will be at Shaver Lake, CA. Any advice is MOST WELCOME! Can’t wait to get started!

Welcome to air forums! Rv camping is the
“Other America”. Take your time. We all started at the beginning like you.
You will see nature in all of it’s splendor.
Meet Americans that are salt of the earth people. If things go wrong. Just chuck it up to a learning experience. You will get very good at it in time. When your hot, dusty, tired or cold from your adventure.
Coming home to your airstream will always
be comfortable and refreshing.
And please make a trip to Jackson Center for adjustments and to soak up the lore.
It’s a great place to visit.
Small town but good food and lots of museums nearby.
Happy Trails!
Tom

It's great to have you join us in the world of "streamin". There is a lot to learn but take it one day at a time and it will not be too difficult. After all, we have all figured it out (for the most part). The most important thing is to start.

I might recommend you look up the local chapter of WBCCI and attend a rally or two as a guest. I've learned a lot from the members of our unit.

And welcome to the forum as well.

Congrats and enjoy!

Greetings from Colorado: Welcome to Air Forums and the Airstream community. They are completely different style of travel trailer. Iconic shape and easy to tow in the wind.

We were all new to Airstream once. I have found these Forums an excellent resource for answers (search feature or starting a thread.) Jump right in and let the learning begin.
