Talking Captain Morgan

Well folkes, here I am, a newby, not to trailering, but to airstream. I have just become the new owner of a airstream soverigh 31. Naturally I am positive the tires need exchanging, maybe the brakes, maybe the absorbers, and to be safe the bearings packed. I don't have a problem at this time, but believe in preventive medicine. My other rv is a Morgan sailboat, so don't mind getting my hands dirty. Tweleve years working with Boy Scouts in the Florida Keys is enough, so from now on; summer is for traveling in some cooler climates. Winter is for yachting on water. Who says you can't have the best of both worlds. I am trying at this time to line up the services outlined above, prior to taking delivery in September. I really don't know yet what to do about my questionable fridge. Seller claims it has always worked just fine, but has set up this last year in the drive way and now doesn't want to light. Ideas?
So glad to be with you guys, and look forward to seeing you out between the curbs and the hedges. Captain Morgan

Welcome to the forums!
Another forum member (lewster) is an RV tech based near you. He may be able to help you adress your coach issues before he heads Northwest for the Summer (for a nominal fee, of course) .
Good luck with your new obsession, er, acquisition.

Terry,

Thanks for the heads-up and karma to you sir!

Capt. Morgan,

I am based in Naples and my office is on Marco. I should have some time in the coming weeks as the 'seasonal' RV crowd in leaving en-masse for northern parts. PM me if you need some advice or help. Special Forum rates apply in case you need a service call .
