Not your typical tow vehicle, but given the terrain I'd say go for it. There's something to be said for ease of maneuverability when using a short wheelbase TV. Just watch those highway speeds!

Even with the flatland around Waller, Texas, I would say that the drive wheel only braking system is marginal - at best...on the plus side, you could always drop the 3 point hitch and plow an additional irrigation/watering trench for the goats to effect an emergency stop...

Used to tow with a similar rig, but had to give it up when we kept getting a bad 'shimmy' at about 49 MPH... The really long arms to hold the mirrors were a real bear to keep aimed...

These days, I 'cheat' a bit when trying to park the AS into a tight spot at home - I have a front mounted hitch mount on our Excursion so I can point and shoot, as it were...

We had the same issue. Solved the problem reversing the mower blade rotation and sealing the side discharge chute. The new ground vacuum effect really let's me stick to the road. All traces of instability are a thing of the past.

Thanks for the welcomes. The little Kubey put her right in the spot we picked out (I don't think I hit 4.9 mph) and we have begun to pretty her up. We ripped out the floors, lots of rot under the windows. I am going to re-do the subfloor in the front lounge but we aren't gutting the rest of it this go round. It's doing guesthouse duty for now so I think we can live with the level of rot. When we get serious about hauling her somewhere I'll address the rest of it.
