Hello, and welcome to the forums.
An Airstream Service Manual from the mid-1970's should help you, they are similar enough to use as a guide. No Argosy service manuals have been produced that I am aware of. The closest Airstream to yours would be a Tradewind.

Actually they did make an Argosy owner's manual and I am pretty sure I have seen at least one Argosy Service manual as part of a MoHo sale. But if they exist they are going to be rare.

The was an Owners manual sold with every argosy. As far as repairs go... the systems are the same as a regular unpainted Airstream.

If you are looking for manuals, you can get reproductions from Helen Davis at Secretarial Services, PO Box 484, Sidney, OH 45365 (937) 492-8885. High Quality reprinted Service and Owners' Manuals are also available from the Airstream Store at www.airstream.com look under books. If you don't see the year(s) you need contact Airstream - they may have them.

Congrats on your new project - Argosys are cool... but I may just be prejudiced.

There wouldn't be much difference between my '74 & your '73. See this thread. I will be selling mine but this keeps coming up. I don't think my owner's manual would take being folded flat on a xerox machine so I'm thinking of photographically reproducing mine. I don't have the shop manual and so many of the skills/parts are generic to the entire RV biz -- and help on these Forums. Me reproducing the manual (for CD distribution) is a project at least a couple months before completion. Contact Airstream for the easy answer -- failing that, please reply back if you'd like to be on "the list."
