Brand New Big International
The purchase of our new 30-foot International (Serenity) occurred six days ago. Quite a lot of research and thinking (many months) went into the acquisition – and my wife and I are satisfied so far. I have started a blog about full-time living: My Airstream Blog Goes Live « The Chinese Buffalo

Welcome to the forums! I'm surprised that no one has replied to this thread already. In any event, that's quite the trailer you've got there, what are you planning on pulling it with, if you don't mind my asking?
I'm looking forward to your blog postings; full-timing, or even extended trips, is pretty much impossible for us right now so I like to live vicariously through others.

Hello and welcome to Air Forums.
I read your blog and I'm unclear if you're full-timing (traveling, moving from place to place now and then) or living in your Airstream rather than living in a house/apartment.
See ya down the road.

Welcome to the forums! Nice Blog! I've been fulltiming since Septermber of last year, and have been quite comfortable. I'm sure you will be, too.

Wow! That is a big, shiny, new Airstream. The Serenity Model melds well with your SE Asian history. Your story is interesting. Look forward to hearing about your FT experiences, as I plan on doing same sometime.
BTW, are you towing Bertha with a F150 4X4? I have the same truck; am almost over-matched with a 27' Flying Cloud!

Thanks for the warm reception! My blog will hopefully explain things better. I am going to live in the International full-time - starting in a few weeks when the dealership is finished with the mods (oven, window treatments, hickory dinette, awnings, etc.). & I cannot wait!!! I found a nice RV park close by the Federal Center where I work - other Agency peeps live there (full-time in 5th-wheels) - the park is nicely landscaped and quiet and safe and filled with lots of friendly retired folks. I spied at least one other Airstream in the park - skirted for winter and nicely settled in for apparently the long haul - can't wait to visit and kibitz and chin-wag with the occupants.
I won't be taking "Bertha" out for a while - my F-150 just ain't up to hauling her around the mountains - I will be replacing this TV with another soon - want to recoup some cash first - + I am too busy to travel for pleasure at the moment - but, as the say in Jamaica - soon come Mon!

Let me add our welcome and congrats... Interesting idea...living in your rig full-time while at home. Hmmm. Sounds great! I'm sure your rig will be the talk of the park!
