Brand New

I just bought a 16 Bambi DWR and wanted to introduce myself. I joined a couple of weeks ago while researching AS trailers. I have admired these American icons since I was a kid. Now I am a proud and excited owner.

I tow with a 2010 FJ Cruiser. I am a nature photographer and will use the AS as a base camp for my photography adventures. I have already learned much valuable information from this forum and look forward to learning more about my little aluminum tent.

I live in SW Florida and just learned about the AS rally in Sarasota. I will drive over today and check it out.

Thanks,
Steve

Welcome to your new home

Hi Steve, you will love being a part of this community, I certainly do! Aluminitis has got to be the most enjoyable disease you can contract. Lots of people here to help with very good IMHO's (in my humble opinion) and humour, support and encouragement. There is even an argue thread for when the mood strikes, very funny. The most important thing you will do however is....POST PICS. We all loooooove pictures. The hours just disappear when you start trolling the threads.
Nice TV (tow vehicle) -Look Ma, I'm getting the hang of all the acronyms!!
Again, WELCOME
Leonie

Greetings from the Florida Panhandle

Welcome to the Forums. We're glad to have you with us.

Congratulations on the new baby. That's a nice looking pop-up on your FJ Cruiser.

We do similar with our 25FB. We set it up as a base camp and set out on our wildlife photography outings with our Outfitter pop-up truck camper.
