Brake Wiring Question

My 2005 Safari keeps breaking the wires going tinto the wheel hubs for the electric brakes. Each wheel has two wires, making a total of eight. I have spliced at least seven of them. Is this a unique problem?
Every time I go on a trip, I end up with one or more wires separated and one time ended up with no trailer brakes at all! Not a nice experience!
Any help is appreciated

Where are they breaking? Where they enter the backing plate or where they come out of the belly pan?

Welcome to the forum.

Hi, my 2005 Safari has only had one broken brake wire; Read my blog, "A Shocking Brake story" to see why mine broke.
