Welcome to the Forums. We're glad to have you with us. I can't help you on the battery issue, but I would seriously consider replacing the belts and hoses. I have antiques cars and watch the rubber like a hawk. It's not a super big deal because I don't go far in them. If I were taking a moho on a long trip, and it had been sitting for couple of years, I would do the belts, hoses, and fluids.

jhenry..........WELCOME!!!

Ditto on what the moose said. WRT batteries, I would probably start fresh with new ones just so you know that you can count on them. If you are doing the replacement, get the best battery that fits your budget (although discussing batteries is sort of like discussing religion....or oil for that matter ). My personal preference is the Lifeline AGM brand. Expensie....YES!! But I have them in all of my vehicles, both starting and deep cycle and have yet to experience a failure....

Congrats!

In Calgary, I have had pretty good service from Bucars RV, out by Balzac, since there is no authorized Airstream dealership here that I know of. Most resto work on my Trailer I do myself.
Let me know if you need a hand!

as a retired FF too, welcome to the forum.
I have had good luck with synthetics in turf equipment that we use at a golf course (second career). we never used them in fire equipment because of the 6 month change schdule didn't seem to be economic.
Take care

I love that "minor problems" line. It translates into "get a good supply of thousand dollar bills together". Yup, rip the batteries. Change the oil & filters on both big boy & gen set. Is it a diesel? I like Delo, have been using it for forty years. Oh ya, the tires are prolly shot, too. Welcome to our world.
