Awaiting Caravel 19CB

My wife and I just put money down for a new 19ft Caravel. Understanding it’s going to be a minute before we get it (dealer is calling for July, won’t be surprised if it’s later given all the problems). But we are so excited to get going. Two young girls and a small dog look forward to making some memories with us.

While we’re waiting:

-We live in the MSP suburbs: any favorite sites in Minnesota/Western Wisconsin?

-We spend a lot of time in Montana as well: any favorites there?

Many thanks.

Welcome to the forum! Hope the excitement builds and continues. Don't get that far north much so no help from me on that. Keeping fingers crossed all goes well. If it doesn't don't let the frustration build, come ask for help early!

Congrats and welcome! You’ll love your new Airstream.

My wife and I camped up in Door County, Wisconsin last fall and it was great. There are lots of small, private campgrounds there. We enjoyed Monument Point Campground just outside of a Sturgeon Bay. It was a great location, right between Sturgeon Bay and Egg Harbor. The towns in Door County are nice, there are many dog friendly restaurants, etc.

Here’s a pic from the campground:

Amazing! Thanks for the rec; hilarious that I was just watching a Door County WI video on YouTube when I came back to this thread. Really appreciate it.

Thanks for the advice; seems like hours of YouTube worm holes will keep us happy and hopeful for the time being. I had a few friends recommend Lake of the Ozarks and Hot Springs AR, so we may be headed your direction before long. Thanks again.

If you ever get a chance, stop in Wyoming. We have a lot of great places to visit!

We've got family in Jackson Hole so will definitely be heading through Wyoming. Thanks for the map.
