Another Hello from Minnesota

My husband and I purchased a 1966 30' Sovereign about two years ago on eBay and after seeing the actual condition of the interior upon delivery, were somewhat daunted by the job ahead. I have now talked him into letting someone else do the hard part, replacing the appliances, heater, water heater, toilet, etc. We'll do the cleanup and refurbish the woodwork. Looking forward to camping again after being without a camper for about 4 years. Have owned two vintage motor homes, but went to a trailer when we got a good tow vehicle. I'll be 'lurking' in the forums for as much info as I can find as we progress.

You wouldn't be the first people to be a little overwhelmed at the prospect of restoring a vintage Airstream - glad you're getting help with the tough parts and that will get you out on the road and camping again that much sooner! Post some pictures when you can - it's always fun to see someone's project. Good luck!
