Airstreaming again!

I grew up Airstreaming with my parents. My Dad purchased his first Airstream in 1956 (a 22 footer). Subsequently, he owned about a dozen (one at a time) over the next 3 decades.

Last week, I bought a 1963 24' Trade Wind double. This was one of my favorite years and floor plans, so I didn't hesitate to buy it.

It is in pretty good shape, but I plan to completely overhaul it so it looks like new. I am looking forward to rallying and caravaning again. I'll have to dig out my old blue beret for nostalgia sake.

I was disapointed to learn that our old WBCCI number 1200 has been reasigned. I had hoped to put it on the old Airstream. Anyone know who has 1200?

the wb' # 1200 was last used by the thompsons of louisiana in 2005.

in 2006 it doesn't show up as in use. the numbers are held for 2 years.

so it should be available in 2007/8 UNLESS they re-upped late,

or someone new already snagged it.

welcome to the forums!
