Just purchased a 1977 AS Sovereign, and was told it was a 29ft but not sure, vin #131a7j30791863175. I allways wanted a AS to tow behind my reconditioned Scout Travelar so both would be the same year and now will start reconditioning AS ,but have many questions and hope you can share some of the knowledge I know this site holds. To start with the furnace (Suburban) will start when turning thermostate up but only fan do not hear the sparking noise to light the flame.wonder how to check. Also the little heater in front (Olympian 3000) the pilot will light but no matter how long I hold the switch in it goes out the minute I let go.I do have more questions but don't want to wear out my welcome. Many thanks in advance, O just heard my wife ask where she can buy the plastic slide clips for curtains.

Hey Binder...Neighbor
First of all Congrats on your unit and second I believe that your serial number indicates that your trailor is a 31 foot unit. As for your heater it is most likely pilot driven like mine. I would be willing to stop by and take a look and possibly help you out on this or that. Let me know and I can make myself available.
